La Maison Dentaire opened recently, so we are not going to pretend to a history we do not have. What we can point to is where the two doctors have spent the last decade, and what they are prepared to commit to in writing.
Years Dr. Milson Toscano has lived and practised in Shenzhen, including at several of the city's leading international clinics.
Practices founded by the two doctors before this one — PHI Studio in Shenzhen and a practice in Paris, both opened in 2022, both still running.

Track record
Two dentists who already built something, and chose to build this.
Dr. Milson Toscano is Brazilian and trained in Brazil, the United States and China. He has spent thirteen years in Shenzhen — long enough to have treated patients through several moves, several job changes and several children growing up. In 2022 he opened his own practice here, PHI Studio, and he has continued taking further courses and specialisations every year since.
Dr. Sebastian Solano trained in Spain and opened his practice in Paris in 2022, which he still runs. He moved his family to Shenzhen so his three daughters could grow up here, and now keeps one foot in each city. He has seen how differently dental care is explained in Europe and in China, which is precisely why he is careful about how he explains it.
Neither of them needed to open another clinic. They did it because the practice they wanted to work in — international, unhurried, and honest about what patients actually need — did not exist in Luohu.

Not values on a wall. Specific things you can check we did, and complain about if we did not.

Every recommendation comes with the scan or radiograph it is based on, and a dentist pointing at the specific problem. If we cannot show you, we should not be recommending it.

You will be told when nothing needs doing.
Watching a problem is often the right answer. You will hear it from us when it is, even though it earns us nothing.

You will have the cost in writing before we start.
A written plan with an itemised figure. No treatment begins until you have read it, and you may take it away.

You will never be pressured to decide today.
No discounts that expire, no urgency that is not clinical. If a decision genuinely is urgent, we will explain exactly why.

You will get your records.
Notes, radiographs, scans and the names of the materials used. They belong to you and you should be able to walk into any clinic in the world with them.

An agreed signal that halts everything immediately, honoured without argument or persuasion.

You will be sent elsewhere when you should be.
If someone else is better placed to treat you — a specialist, a hospital, or a dentist in your own city — we will say so.
Reviews
Why there are no patient testimonials on this page
You will have noticed that this page contains no glowing quotes from happy patients. That is deliberate, and there are two reasons.
The first is legal. Article 16 of the Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China prohibits medical advertising that uses spokespersons — including patients — to give recommendations or testimonials. A licensed clinic in Shenzhen publishing patient quotes on its own website is not operating in a grey area.
The second is that you should not believe them anyway. Testimonials on a clinic's own website are selected by the clinic. Every practice in the world can produce five happy patients. It tells you nothing about the sixth.
If you want to know what patients think, read reviews we do not control.
Independent reviews on public platforms are a different thing entirely — they are written by patients, published by someone else, and they include the bad ones. When you are choosing a dentist, that is the source worth reading, here or anywhere.
If you have been treated by either doctor, at this clinic or previously, a review left on a public platform genuinely helps other patients decide. We will never offer you anything in return for one.
