Patient information

Planning your visit should be simple.

What to expect, how to prepare, and what to do if the thought of the dentist makes you uneasy.

Your first visit

Allow at least an hour. We do the full workup on the day — oral examination, medical history, X-rays, CT and 3D scan — then talk it through. You leave with a written plan and a clear idea of cost before any treatment starts.

What to bring

Photo identification, a list of any medication you take, and previous X-rays or records if you have them. You can email records ahead of your visit.

Getting in

We are at street level on Hong Gui Road, with street parking outside. There are steps at the entrance and no ramp — message us beforehand if that is a problem and we will meet you at the door.

Bringing children

Children are welcome at any age. A first appointment is usually short and involves no treatment — it exists so the clinic stops being unfamiliar.

If you feel anxious

Tell us before we begin.

Dental anxiety is common and it is not something you need to explain or apologise for. Say so when you book, or when you sit down.

We will talk through each step before it happens, agree a signal that stops everything immediately, and go at the pace you set. Nothing will be started without your agreement.

We do not promise painless treatment or guaranteed outcomes, and sedation is not suitable for everyone. What we can promise is that you will know what is happening and that you can stop at any point.

Insurance and payment

Costs are discussed before treatment, not after.

We do not bill insurers directly. You settle with the clinic, and we give you the itemised invoice and clinical documentation you need to claim reimbursement from your insurer. Bring your policy details to your first visit if you want us to make sure the paperwork matches what your insurer asks for.

We accept weChat Pay, Alipay, credit card and international bank transfer.
